Short biography of Nazar Yaremchuk

Jaremchuk Nazariy (Ukrainian Jaremczuk Назарій Nazarovych November 30, 1951 - June 30, 1995) - People's Artist of Ukraine, the famous singer.

Born in the village of Rivne, Vizhnitsky District, Chernovtsy, Ukraine, to a peasant family. In 1963, graduated from elementary school in his native village, and later studied at the school for orphans in Vizhnitse. In 1969 worked as seismology. Since the autumn of 1969 Nazariy Jaremczuk singing in a vocal-instrumental ensemble «Smerichka». In 1970 he entered the Faculty of Geography Chernovetsky University. In a 1971-1972 survey took place on TV «Chervona rue». «Smerichka» has successfully addressed the all-union competitions «Song-71» and «Song-72». During the performance of a song «Gorianka» soloists «Smerichka» Nazariy Jaremchuk and B. Zinkevich were awarded the titles of laureates of the All-Union Competition «Hello, we are looking for talent!». In 1975, Nazariy Jaremczuk starts in the Philharmonic. In 1978 he received the title of Honored Artist of Ukraine. In 1981 Jaremczuk becomes diplomant International Pop Song Festival «Bratislavskaya lira» in Czechoslovakia in 1982 - laureate of the Republican. Nikolai Ostrovsky in 1985 - Diploma in XII International Festival of Youth and Students in Moscow. In 1986, Nazariy visited three times in the 30-kilometer exclusion zone, which addressed the liquidators of the Chernobyl accident. In 1987 he received the title of National Artist of Ukraine.
